Zoheb Sharif is a former professional cricketer who began his career at just 16, signing with Essex CCC. He made his first-class debut against Yorkshire at the age of 18, going on to record two centuries and average 40 in first-class cricket. As a versatile player, he also contributed with the ball, achieving best figures of 4 for 98 with his leg spin.
His career highlights also include representing the MCC against the touring West Indies in 2007, as well as featuring in the prestigious Champion County match at Lord’s against Sussex the same year.
Since retiring from the professional game, Zoheb has established himself as a highly respected coach. Known for his passion, high standards, and ability to bring the best out of his players, he has coached a wide range of cricketers - from complete beginners to seasoned professionals, including England international Ravi Bopara. With a proven track record of guiding players from grassroots to professional level, Zoheb has become a trusted mentor in the cricketing community.
He has also served as a batting coach at the Rajasthan Royals Academy and is preparing to complete his ECB Level 3 coaching qualification, further cementing his commitment to developing the next generation of cricketers.
